So much drama! Tonight’s shocking Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Season 3, Episode 6, “She’s Gone Too Far,” involves new cars, drunken servers, and Brandi Glanville’s rumor that ignites a huge argument at Mauricio’s work party. We assume that Paul Nassif probably would have had more fun staying at home and waxing his back hair, which is definitely saying something.
Which Came First: the Egg or the Mercedes?
The episode, “She’s Gone Too Far,” starts off on an upbeat note (don’t get used to that this week!) with Mauricio pretending that his daughter Alexia’s friends threw eggs at their cars. The big reveal is that he and Kyle Richards are giving her a Mercedes-Benz. Keep in mind that Alexia doesn’t actually have her license yet. Yes, Mauricio is the coolest (and hottest) dad ever.
Lisa Vanderpump learns that a longtime Sur customer was upset by a comment made by server Stassi. Take-no-guff Lisa meets with Stassi and chastises her for drinking on the job and for saying the party sucked. (Stassi is classy!) Lisa gives her the night off, although Stassi thinks Lisa won’t hear her side of things. Then again, being drunk at work doesn’t give you a lot of leverage.
Lisa has several of the ladies over to Sur to test out her new appetizer menu. Talk quickly turns to Adrienne. Brandi — who recently met with her own agent to discuss her book cover — makes cracks about Adrienne Maloof’s supposed book deal. Even Ken gets in on the fun, as he apparently thinks Adrienne’s book will have as many words as, say, a Where’s Waldo book.
Then, Brandi explains why there’s tension between her and Adrienne, saying that Paul and Adrienne tried to get her to make comments about Lisa on Twitter. We always knew that little Twitter bird was up to no good.
But then things get worse. Brandi says something about Adrienne and Paul which is so shocking that Bravo censors her statement! All the ladies are stunned, especially Kim Richards, who later asks Taylor Armstrong why no one said anything to Brandi.
And if you’re wondering what Brandi said about Adrienne, have no fear! Wetpaint Entertainment has the exclusive inside scoop on exactly what she said! And yep, we can see why the ladies’ jaws dropped.
Adrienne and Paul Get Hip to What Was Said, Ken Just Gets a Hip
Paul and Adrienne are preparing for a barbecue for their nephews, and Adrienne is busy teaching Paul how to shred lettuce and then how to use the barbecue. In other words, they are blissfully unaware of the hairy situation going on at Sur. And speaking of “hairy” (how about that for a segue?!), Paul is clearly not familiar with the word “manscaping.”
Lisa is busy helping Ken, who is undergoing a hip transplant after a polo accident ten years ago. Lisa realizes how much Ken means to her when she sees him being carted away for the procedure, but luckily, Ken is just fine afterward. These two are just the cutest, aren’t they?
But unluckily for Lisa, he has a smokin’ hot nurse who wants to know what Ken can or can’t feel below the belt. Ken is suddenly thinking, “Wait — is today Christmas, or is it my birthday? Itmust be one or the other.”
Mauricio is throwing a lavish dinner gathering to celebrate a successful first year for his real estate company, The Agency. (How long did it take to come up with that name, Mauricio? Were you in a hurry or something?) It’s here that we meet Dimitri, Camille’s new boyfriend, who is short on conversation but long on... uh, let’s get to the next paragraph, shall we?
Adrienne and Paul finally arrive to Mauricio’s event, and Brandi is worried, since she doesn’t know if they’ve heard what she’s said about them. Well, they don’t know — until Kim pops over to inform them. Paul and Adrienne are furious at Brandi, with Adrienne promising a lawsuit and Paul saying he wants “to slam this person right now.” Where is some lettuce to take your anger out on when you need it?
“Thanks For Coming — Now Please Leave”
The rest of the ladies are concerned about what might be transpiring between Kim, Adrienne, and Paul — but the mystery doesn’t last long. Paul and Adrienne walk over to say they’re leaving, and Paul loudly refers to Brandi as a “bitch.” And by the way, if you’re keeping track of how many times the word bitch is used, let’s hope you have a lot of fingers at your disposal to count on.
Adrienne calls Brandi a liar, and Paul calls Brandi a “piece of s**t,” but Brandi swears on her children that she’s telling the truth. Funny Brandi should mention her kids, because Adrienne then claims that Brandi sleeps until three in the afternoon and leaves her children alone, which Brandi denies. Speaking of sleep, all this stress is making us want a nap.
Meanwhile, Kyle is unhappy, since she’s watching Mauricio’s work event become a nightmare. So she finally gets Paul and Adrienne to leave, although they have plenty of comments on the way out, including Adrienne making drug accusations about Brandi. Long story short: Yikes.
So now that the dust has settled and the word “bitch” is done being thrown around repeatedly, what is there to make of this? Well, whether or not Brandi’s accusation is true, we can see why Adrienne and Paul might want to keep it private.
And we understand that Kim felt funny being around Adrienne and Paul without them knowing what Brandi said about them. But if Kim felt so strongly, why didn’t she call Adrienne on the phone to break the news? Or meet up somewhere private to tell them? There’s no reason at all why Mauricio deserved to have his work function ruined by this spat.
All in all, we imagine everyone at the party was thinking by the end of the night, “If only I could have had a massive surgery to get out of coming to this party like Ken did.” So we can’t wait to see how everything gets sorted out next week. If anyone needs us, we’ll be relieving the tension from this episode by shredding lettuce. We better buy a lot of lettuce.
