The dust has barely settled from all of the drama on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 3, but producers are already looking ahead to Season 4.
Casting rumors have run the gamut from Rod Stewart’s wife, Penny Lancaster, to former Extra host Dayna Devon. Even Season 3 villain Faye Resnick has been in consideration to join the RHoBH cast full time.
Now, Radar Online reports that another contender has entered the ring to potentially join Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 4.
Sources say Baroness Monica Von Neumann has been in talks with Bravo and met with the network in February.
“It went really well,” an insider said. “She had them cracking up... They appear to really love the idea of having her on the show.”
Apparently, the Baroness has charmed more than one TV network recently! She reportedly filmed a pilot for E! at one point last year.
So just who is this sought-after woman of royalty? Born Monica Ford, the Baroness moved to Los Angeles from Detroit at the age of five. She studied dancing and toured with musicians like Nina Simone and Devo.
The Baroness met her husband in the early 1980s when Sonny Bono introduced her to Austrian Baron John von Neumann. The son of the doctor to the King of England and Spain, he made his fortune importing Volkswagens to the US. The couple had one child together, a daughter named Dorian.
Sadly, the Baron lost a battle with cancer in 2003. Since then, the Baroness has become a successful businesswoman in her own right and runs a line of luxury scented candles. She hopes to expand her line of products to become the “black Martha Stewart,” and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills could be just the platform to launch her career even further.
