Journey rocker Neal Schon is finally making an honest woman out of his lover, former Real Housewives of D.C. star and infamous White House party crasher Michaele Salahi.
According to TMZ, Neal asked the former reality star to be his wife during a Journey performance at a benefit for the John Hopkins Kimmel Center. The rocker reportedly called Michaele up on stage in the middle of the group’s set to pop the big question. Michaele, who was apparently completely caught off guard, broke down crying after saying yes as the band played the couple’s song, “Faithful.”
The newly-engaged duo have been together since September of last year and reportedly dated for years in the 90s. After Michaele ran away the Journey guitarist last year, her then-husband and fellow party crasher, Tareq Salahi, called the police and reported the reality star as missing. As we now know, Michaele hadn’t been kidnapped but ran away with Neal on her own accord.
The two lovebirds certainly came together in bizarre circumstances, but we wish them well nonetheless! May they have at least a few party crashers at their wedding.
