Now that the ink is finally drying on his dramatic divorce from Real Housewives of DC’s Michaele Salahi, Tareq Salahi intends to focus on his run for state governor of Virginia. As if that weren’t strange enough, he’s also reportedly planning to have the whole experience documented on film.
Tareq — whose familiarity with being in the spotlight began in 2009 when he and Michaele crashed the White House state dinner and made headlines the world over for it — will be featured in a TV documentary called In It To Win It, which will chronicle his race for governor.
Producer John Campbell told Rumor Fix that the movie’s planned as “a human interest story — a story of resilience and the human spirit. Here we have a guy whose triumphs and tribulations have been aired globally and could have easily hidden for years, yet he didn’t.”
Promising that the movie will be unscripted and unguided, John says that viewers of his film will get to know the “REAL Tareq Salahi.”
Production will reportedly begin on September 16 during Tareq’s “Crash the Candidates BBQ” event.
