The Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Barney told Dr. Oz about her cervical cancer scare — the one that led her to remove her breast implants — earlier this week. In the latest issue of Life & Style, the reality star opened up about some of the details.

A year ago, doctors told Tamra she had stage-four cancer cells in her cervix that needed to be removed. “[When they explained it], I remember thinking, Wait a minute! It’s like all of a sudden… what?” the 44-year-old TV star tells L&S.

Luckily, the operation went well, but Tamra’s anxieties didn’t lessen. In October, the mother of four — who had already had DD-sized implants taken out five years earlier — decided it was time to go au naturale after finding numerous lumps in her breasts. So, Tamra opted to have her C-cup implants taken out. “I was freaked out that cancer would be behind the implants, so I took them out altogether,” she explains.

Now, Tamra’s happy with her own 34B breasts. And apparently there’s something to be said about being an OC Housewife without any silicone in her rack: “He likes them a lot better!” Tamra says of her new fiancé, Eddie Judge.
