Vicki Gunvalson’s daughter, Briana, made it clear that Brooks Ayers is not welcome in their home. Vicki’s infamous on-again, off-again boyfriend was the source of much ire in The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 7, and it doesn’t look like that will change as the rest of Season 8 unfolds.
In Real Housewives of Orange County Season 8, Episode 5, Briana’s husband, Ryan, sat down with Vicki's brother Billy. The two chatted about how things have been since Ryan and Briana moved in with Vicki. When the subject of Brooks came up, Ryan wasn’t shy about sharing his feelings — and some unsavory details about Vicki’s main man.
“He’s not welcome here,” Ryan declared. “He can’t come here tonight; he can’t come here any night.”
He recounted a story about spending time with Brooks during a trip to Mexico. They stopped at a pharmacy where two “clearly prostitute-dressed girls” are standing nearby.
“He looks at me and says, ‘I wonder if they’re worth it,’” Ryan said of Brooks. “He’s sitting here the whole time, staring them up and down, making these perverse sounds, acting a fool. He’s looking around at me and he’s giving me the whisper sign, like the bro code for ‘shhh, don’t tell anybody.’”
Ryan said that Vicki knows everything but refuses to acknowledge Brooks’s bad behavior. When Billy asked whether Ryan will make peace with Brooks if he becomes his father-in-law someday, Ryan responded adamantly, “No, I won’t.”
Much of Real Housewives of Orange County Season 8 seems to show Vicki struggling with her feelings for Brooks. But the reality star recently revealed to Us Weekly that she and Brooks are indeed dating again. Even without Briana's approval, Vicki is eager to make things work.
"Brooks and I have had, definitely, a rough road," Vicki said. "We fight to stay together, we fight to leave each other. Every other day I'm like, 'Ok, I'm too much work for you.'"
