Real Housewives of Vancouver star Ronnie Seterdahl Negus narrowly avoided every mother’s worst nightmare earlier this year: losing a child.

According to Popisreal, Ronnie’s 9-year-old daughter, Remy, began choking on some food back in February. Reportedly, it took seven hours to fully remove the debris from her throat and it was “a near-death experience” for Remy.

The good news is that she’s fine now, despite the seriousness of the situation. Ronnie tweeted a photo of herself, Remy, and the doctors and nurses who helped save the child’s life.

We’re so glad Remy’s okay!
