The book comes out on February 7, 2012.
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Taylor Armstrong’s new tell-all book, Hiding From Reality, earned her a spot on many a critic’s hater list, but it also earned her a coveted spot on another, much more prestigious one: The New York Times bestseller list!
The 40-year-old reality star is now a best-selling author, with her book clocking in at an impressive number 15 on the non-fiction list this week. For those unfamiliar with Taylor’s first foray into publishing, Hiding From Reality is a look into Taylor’s allegedly emotionally and physically abusive marriage to financial investor Russell Armstrong, who committed suicide in August.
Despite its success, many of Taylor’s friends and co-stars — we’re looking at you, frenemesis Brandi Glanville! — were unhappy with her decision to publish. Taylor inked the book deal a mere three weeks after Russell’s passing, a move many deemed inappropriate.
Still, the numbers don’t lie, and Tay’s memoir is catching the public’s attention. Dare we say we’ll have to add it to our reading list? OK, you got us. We already have.
