Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson doesn't like what was said about Brooks Ayers on this week's episode.

"I know [Brooks's] character, and I know who he is more than anyone, and he's not the guy that Ryan thinks he is," Vicki writes in her Bravo blog

"Although I appreciate my kids being protective over me, there is a fine line about going overboard," she adds.

Vicki clears up her feelings about the security cameras that Ryan had installed.

"I misspoke when I said Ryan is 'watching me all the time,' or that I feel like I have lost control of my home," Vicki writes. "The fact is, I feel safer than I ever have because of the security cameras. I thank Ryan for thinking so much of us, that our protection while he is gone was his priority."

And Vicki explains that she understands why Briana wouldn't want Brooks to develop a close relationship to Troy.

"Briana is concerned of introducing the baby to not only Brooks, but any other man that I would date because during this time we wanted to show Troy consistency," Vicki says. "I am perfectly fine and more than OK with this compromise at this time of my life. It keeps Briana, Troy, and Ryan happy — and truly, we don't have any conflicts at all." That's good to hear!

Meanwhile, Vicki still appreciates that Alexis Bellino attended Tamra Barney's party with her, even if it didn't go so well.

"I think Alexis was genuinely coming from a good place by showing up, and it's too bad the other girls couldn't see that," she adds.

We can all agree that Alexis's presence was certainly not appreciated.
