Considering how much she’d gone through on her first two seasons of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, it was a bit surprising to learn Taylor Armstrong would return for Season 3. As Taylor tells The Age, she didn’t want to hide after the tragedy of August 2011, when her estranged husband, Russell Armstrong, committed suicide.

I thought it was important [for viewers] to see what it's like when someone goes through tragedy and that there is recovery,'' explains Taylor.. ''The abuse and then the death — people do get through these things.''

While that’s certainly true — and Taylor is brave to put herself back on camera as she copes with Russell’s death — RHoBH fans aren’t seeing the best side of Taylor. The cast has accused her of showing up intoxicated to several events, and a source tells Wetpaint Entertainment that the ladies hold an intervention for Taylor later in Season 3.

Taylor admits in her interview with The Age that the media attention has taken a toll on her. “Especially when there's been some tragedy, you feel like it's hard to take a breath, you can't go through the normal process of grieving,” she says.
