Much like the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 2, Kyle and Kim Richards’ relationship has been a roller coaster ride of emotions. But now that Kim Richards has completed a 30-day stint in rehab, it seems the child-actresses-turned-reality-stars are repairing their bond as well.

Kim missed filming the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 2 reunion, which took place while she was in treatment. However, once she was done with the program, she had a one-on-one interview with Andy Cohen. During her sit-down with Bravo’s poster boy, the 47-year-old mother publicly announced she was an alcoholic for the first time. How’s that for honesty?

In her latest Bravo blog, younger sister Kyle Richards explained how much the heartfelt confession meant to her.

“Watching Kim sit across from Andy and say ‘I'm an alcoholic’ touched me beyond words,” writes Kyle. “For Kim to put herself out there in front of millions of people and admit that was a huge step in her recovery. Since the beginning of Season 1, all of the girls in the cast have been kind and supportive towards Kim. Although, they knew of her struggles, they respected her choice to deal with it privately. That is something I will never forget.” Kyle also gave an update on her sister: “Kim is doing so well. Each day she is stronger, happier, and moving forward, one day at a time. . .” We’re so glad!

On a lighter note, the brunette beauty wrote about something the rest of us will never forget: Her husband Mauricio’s naked butt on TV.  While Kyle says she was “shocked” Bravo used the scene, she writes, “I have to say, it did look cute.” Dare we say we concur? We know Kyle’s got a feisty side when it comes to Mauricio!
