Are we going to see a softer, gentler side of Vicki Gunvalson, now that she’s a grandmother?

The Real Housewives of Orange County star’s daughter Briana Culberson gave birth to son Troy recently, and we got to meet the little cutie on the premiere episode of the reality show’s eighth season. It’s no surprise, Vicki can’t get enough of the little guy.

“A baby brings joy to a family,” she said in a show clip, “And Troy has definitely done that.” In footage from inside the Gunvalson/Culberson home, Vicki sure seems to be in her element, snuggling her grandson and saying things that only a grandma can say, like, “It’s amazing, we never hear him cry!” cut together with clips of Troy really giving his newborn lungs a workout.

“I think what’s great about being a grandmother is that I don’t have to do any of the responsibilities,” Vicki adds, while Briana and Ryan are on full diaper alert.

She is clearly having the time of her life in this new role, so is it possible that Vicki is going to give up her usual catfighting ways and focus on her family? Well, probably not, because even in the midst of new her grandbaby glow Vicki managed to get in one little dig.

“This is what’s important to me, not those bitches,” she said in a baby voice, as she bounced the baby on her lap. “Right, Troy?”
