Real Housewives of Orange County got a whole lot feistier when Vicki Gunvalson brought new boyfriend Brooks Ayers into the picture. Not only has that relationship yielded cringe-worthy moments, but it was also the source of one major mother/daughter spat between Vicki and Briana in Season 7, Episode 14.

Vicki wrote about the fight in her Bravo blog, saying she thought some of Briana’s words during their fight were “shocking” and “hurt bad!” So much so, in fact, that she doesn’t ever want to relive it again.

She wrote that Brooks was “being judged unfairly” because of how people regard her soon-to-be-ex-husband Donn and wanted to set the record straight on a few things about their relationship. First, she said that she and Brooks are only dating and not living together (even though he did move to the OC for her) and that they have zero plans to become financially entangled or married anytime soon.

“I’m dating Brooks because he makes me extremely happy, doesn’t lie to me, and is treating me with the respect and love that I deserve,” she wrote. But her kids, Briana and Michael, will always come first for her. “His children come before me,” she said, “and mine come before him. I will never choose between my significant other or my children, because my kids will always prevail.”

Vic added that Briana did indeed have her formal wedding ceremony with hubby Ryan and that both Brooks and her ex Donn were in attendance. Apparently, the two even shook hands and tried to make the best of things. So, no dramatic show-down between the two men to come? Darn!
