It’s been a while since we last saw Jeana Keough and her daughter, Kara, on Real Housewives of Orange County. The mother/daughter pair showed up at Heather Dubrow’s name-changing soiree in Season 7, Episode 19 and made peace with Tamra Barney. (During the Season 6 finale, Jeana and Tamra Barney got into an altercation, which resulted in Tamra throwing a drink in Jeana’s face.) We saw how fabulous Kara looked (even covered in a plastic poncho) and wondered what the girl’s been up to all this time.

It turns out she’s all aglow thanks to romance and the Florida sunshine. She lives with her boyfriend, Jacksonville Jaguars football star Kyle Bosworth. The two met while at UCLA (where Kara received her BA in Interpersonal Communications Studies — with cum laude honors) and have been living together — with some of his teammates, no less — while he plays for the team. According to LinkedIn, she works as a marketing coordinator for Accounting Principals, Ajilon Professional Staffing & Parker + Lynch.

Other than that, Kara’s been dealing with typical post-college woes, she explained in a recent interview with Absurd to Sublime. “We live in a crazy house with some of Kyle’s teammates and it feels like the Keough house with the rotating hotel door. It’s interesting to see a bunch of young twenty-something kids figure out how to be adults away from their family and friends, myself included,” she said. “Kinda scary, but, as I told my mom … I wouldn’t trade my life right now for anything.”


We’re so glad she was in town for Heather’s party. Both her poncho-wear and her makeup with Tamra were priceless.
