Fans of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills have undoubtedly heard an earful about Brandi Glanville’s messy and painful divorce.
So who exactly is Eddie Cibrian, her ex-husband?
An actor with nearly two decades in the biz, he got his first big break in the mid-'90s on Baywatch Nights as lifeguard Griff Walker. Daytime soap fans will definitely recognize his dimpled good looks from a brief stint on The Young and the Restless, as well as the short-lived series Sunset Beach, where he played Cole St. John.
Eddie soon made the transition from daytime to primetime when he snagged the role of New York City firefighter Jimmy Doherty on the drama Third Watch. After leaving the show in Season 5, he made guest appearances on shows like Dirty Sexy Money and Ugly Betty before joining the cast of CSI: Miami for two seasons. Most recently, Eddie starred in the short-lived series The Playboy Club, and has guested on Hot in Cleveland and For Better or Worse.
In 2009, he co-starred with singer LeAnn Rimes in the Lifetime movie Northern Lights. Eddie fought off speculation that he was having an affair with LeAnn, but ultimately fessed up to their relationship and filed for divorce from Brandi on August 24, 2009.
Eddie wed LeAnn on April 22, 2011, and shares custody of his two sons with Brandi, 9-year-old Mason and 5-year-old Jake.
Brandi’s upcoming book, titled Drinking & Tweeting and Other Brandi Blunders, has plenty to say about Eddie and the demise their eight-year marriage.
