Sean Stewart turned up on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills scene for a hot minute, and all we know about him so far is that he’s the son of rock god Rod Stewart.

While he’s hanging around smooching Adrienne Maloof, let’s take a closer look, shall we? Who is Sean Stewart?

Well, he’s no stranger to tabloid headlines, that’s for sure! Sean, who was born to Stewart and model/actress Alana Stewart, made his first foray into reality TV as one of the star of Sons of Hollywood, a show about — you guessed it — people with famous parents. He also followed in his father’s footsteps as a songwriter and composed that show’s theme song, titled “In Crowd.”

Like many musicians before him, Sean has a checkered past, complete with court dates and short engagements. He was once jailed for attacking someone outside a club, charged with attacking a couple outside of a nightclub, sued for assault and accused of stealing an ex-girlfriend’s car. Yikes.

Given all that, it’s no big surprise that a battle with substance abuse led Sean to his second stint on reality TV. In 2008, he joined the Season 2 cast of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew. Pre-rehab, he was briefly (we’re talking days) engaged to Caleigh Peters, who is 8 years younger than him. Post-rehab, he was engaged to Chantall Kendall, who is nine years his senior. Like Adrienne said, “Age is just a number!”

According to his older lady love, Sean’s bad boy ways are a thing of the past.

“[Sean] is a very funny guy,” Adrienne said recently. “He's very giving, he mentors at the mission, works with at-risk children, and gives his time and money to get children off the streets." The two apparently met through a mutual friend, and sparks flew when he approached her to pitch a business idea.

Things may still be casual between these two, but he’d definitely make for some great TV! What do you think of Adrienne’s new beau?
