The women of the Real Housewives franchises are tenacious with a capital “T”. So it’s not surprising Andy Cohen, aka the Patron Saint of Bravo and all things Real Housewives, has been asked (jokingly?) whether he’d ever consider a Survivor-type show featuring some of the most memorable Housewives.

Could you imagine Brandi Glanville on a deserted island flanked by the likes of Nene Leakes, Ramona Singer, or Teresa Giudice? It could be the greatest thing ever — and probably the last we’d ever hear of these women, sadly. But would Andy ever actually consider doing it?

“I get this question all the time,” Andy said in a recent Q&A session while promoting his book, Most Talkative, in Atlanta, Georgia.

“When are we going to put Housewives from different cities on an island and just leave them there and shoot the whole thing? It is a great idea and I would love to do it, but if we do that you can never go back. Because you’ll never picture the women the same, and so I feel like we need to just keep going with the motherships right now.”

It’s hard to mess with a tried and true formula. But if there’s ever a time Andy feels like Real Housewives should jump the shark, we wouldn’t be opposed to revisiting this scenario!
