Real Housewives of Miami star Alexia Echevarria is not taking Lisa Hochstein's comment about Cubans lightly.
On last week's episode, Lisa referred to the show's drama as "Lea vs. the Cubans," which Alexia clearly did not appreciate. "What I'm [very] tired about is Lisa talking about the Cubans," Alexia writes in her Bravo blog. "What kind of ignorant comment is that?"
"Miami, like many cities in the U.S., was built by hard working immigrants like my parents, who had to flee their country because of political persecution and lack of freedom," she says. "Seriously Lisa, Lea vs. the Cubans? I'm appalled and disgusted. I'm sure Lea was as shocked as me. Where is this coming from? I’m thinking it's you that has the problem with the Cubans. And Lisa calls herself the peacemaker? I CAN'T!"
Alexia says she struggles to be in the middle of the feud between the Housewives. "It's so uncomfortable to be in this position," Alexia admits. "I want to be friends with both sides like I've been until now. I don't feel I have to take sides — this is not a trial and I'm not a juror. I have nothing to do with their problems, and I'm getting tired of it."
Alexia also says she understands why Marysol Patton and Adriana De Moura weren't thrilled with the idea of her going to Lea Black's gala. "I know Marysol and Adriana felt bad for the hard time they gave me," she writes. "They apologized later. I waited until the end of the day to tell them I was going, because I didn't want to ruin the day for them. I didn't want the day to be about Lea and her gala."
But who wouldn't want a chance to hobnob with Dennis Rodman?
