Usually, when something isn't selling, it makes sense to lower the price. But apparently, that isn't how Real Housewives of Miami star Lisa Hochstein operates.
Lisa and husband Leonard's home on Sunset Island in Florida has been on the market for the past two years and has yet to sell. The asking price during this time has been a not-cheap $10.75 million.
But Lisa seems to think that the problem is that the price tag isn't high enough, with Celebuzz reporting that she and Lenny are now upping the price to - get this! - $11.5 million. Yowza.
So for those of you with more than $11 million big ones burning a hole in your pocket, you're probably wondering what you get for that sum. Well, the beachfront property is truly impressive, with amazing views complementing the five bedrooms and six-and-a-half baths. Because one bathroom per bedroom just isn't enough.
As for amenities, there is a billiard room, 13-seat home theater, hand-painted fresco ceilings, and no shortage of marble archways and columns.
This isn't the first time that Lisa and Lenny's home-related issues have made the news this year. Lisa has earned the ire of area preservationists over her plans to tear down her new mansion on Star Island, particularly after Lisa threw a gangster-themed shindig at the home and splattered the interior with fake blood.
We wish Lisa and Lenny the best in the sale of their home, and we hope their price-raising strategy works, although we have our doubts.
