The stars of Real Housewives of Miami haven't yet begun starting to film Season 4, as the show has not been officially picked up by Bravo. However, the ladies are still keeping busy, as Alexia Echevarria will serve as the grand marshal at an upcoming AIDS Walk.

Alexia will be heading up the 26th Annual AIDS Walk Miami: One Step Closer to the Cure on April 27. The mayor of Miami Beach will serve as the event's master of ceremonies.

"I am honored to have been selected to be the grand marshal of the AIDS WALK MIAMI," Alexia writes. "I feel that, by fundraising efforts like this kind, I can help raise awareness, bring hope and build a sense of community. Many People living with HIV/AIDS in our community simply cannot afford medical care and treatment and need our help."

We're proud of Alexia for her involvement in such an important cause! And she's always so upbeat, so we think she's a great choice to be present at the event.

As for the show's Season 4, Bravo still is demurring about the show's fate. "Nothing has officially been decided yet either way," a network rep tells Wetpaint Entertainment exclusively. Here's hoping it gets the go-ahead!
