We firmly believe that all Real Housewives cities bring their own unique flair to the franchise — the long-departed D.C. not included. And while we were rejoicing in the news Real Housewives of Atlanta and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills were recently renewed for all-new seasons, we were equally as disappointed to see our fiery gals from Real Housewives of Miami missing from the list. What say you, Bravo?

Well, Bravo tells us that they have not yet made a decision either way on the series, so we’re stuck sitting on pins and needles. To tide us over, Wetpaint Entertainment chatted with RHoM star Lea Black not too long ago, and she shared her predictions on the possibility of a fourth season for her series. So does she know something we don’t?

“Anybody that tells you they know for sure is sort of rumor mongering,” Lea says. “Bravo hasn’t made any official announcements, so I’ll leave that to them. But Miami would only be so proud to showcase the city again.”

And there could be further disappointment ahead. Even if RHoM were to come back, Lea admits she doesn’t know whether she herself will be part of that cast: “I want the show to come back, whether I did or not. It would depend on if I’m invited and when the filming would be. But I for sure love the brand, love the show, and love the franchise.”

One thing’s for certain: Even if the worst were to come and RHoM were canceled, Lea will still be a big part of the Housewives community. Not only is the “once a Housewife, always a Housewife” mantra true, but you also have to remember that this “Mayor of Miami” is seriously connected. As she explains, “Most of the girls [from other franchises] that I have relationships with were unrelated to the show.”

Among those with whom Lea socializes? Lisa Vanderpump, whom she knew before she joined RHoM; Brandi Glanville “because our kids played together”; and party-throwing pal, Adrienne Maloof. “I knew the Beverly Hills girls outside of the show because I live there in the summer,” Lea explains.

You may also see Mrs. Black hanging around RHoNJ’s Kathy Wakile and RHoNY star Ramona Singer; they all share mutual friends. So yep, this outgoing gal is well-immersed in the Bravo scene. She’s not going anywhere.

Do you want RHoM back for a fourth season? And should Lea return? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below.
