We've learned some very good news relating to Real Housewives of Miami star Alexia Echevarria. Alexia and husband Herman have paid off their tax debt and are no longer in danger of losing their beautiful home. Phew!
Alexis and Herman reportedly owed $94,078.44 in taxes back in 2009, leading to a lien being placed on their Miami Beach home. Now, Radar Online reports that their debt is gone, and so the IRS has released their lien as of April 22.
"The following-named taxpayer has satisfied the taxes listed below and all stator additions," reads their court document. "Therefore, the lien for these taxes and additions has been released."
We're very relieved for the couple, and it's great that they have found a way to alleviate their debt without losing their house. We wish them all the best moving forward.
This is not the only legal drama facing the couple of late. Earlier this year, news broke that Alexia is suing her car insurance company regarding injuries stemming from a 2010 car accident. Alexia had also sued a car insurance company last year over son Frankie's injuries from a 2011 accident.
Are you surprised that Alexia and Herman have managed to pay off their debt?
