UPDATE (7/5/2014): Joanna Krupa is now explaining her incendiary messages about cheerleader and hunter Kendall Jones.
The Real Housewives of Miami star tells TMZ that she just reposted the message that included the death threat, and so she herself didn't write it. Therefore, Joanna doesn't feel she should be getting flak for those harsh words.
Original story (7/4/2014): Real Housewives of Miami star Joanna Krupa is not alone in her disgust with 19-year-old Texas Tech cheerleader Kendall Jones, who made headlines for the smiling photos she shared next to the lions, elephants and other animals she's killed on safari.
Kendall's father complained to TMZ Sports that, after the story went public, his daughter has received death threats, including one posted to Instagram from Joanna Krupa.
Joanna posted a note, which has been removed, writing "This bitch Kendall Jones killed this beautiful creature so she post a selfie! That lion is an endangered species .. breaks my f***ing [heart] not to mention he had a family .. I wish I can fly to Africa and shoot her ugly ass." She added a gun emoji to the end.
Kendall's dad told TMZ they interpreted the message as a threat but they didn't go to the authorities because they're in Texas and feel safe there. But he feels they are "baseless, and uneducated threats" and Kendall will continue to hunt because she reportedly feels it's important for population control and conservation efforts. They added that none of the animals Kendall killed were endangered and her hunting has all been done legally, with permits.
Joanna, who has appeared in several PETA ads and listed "Animal Lover" as part of her bio, posted the photo shown at left on Instagram and added this note, which still remains:
Kendall jones is a sad excuse for a human being! Would love to see this trash in the middle of safari w out her weapons! Ignorant Human being!!!!! Wimp!!! Go w out any weapons let's see what happens them. by @reebarnes "Here's more of this disgusting waste of skin." via @PhotoRepost_app
Do you think Kendall is getting what she deserves with all this hate, or are people going too far?
