Usually the Real Housewives are pretty good about keeping the drama within their respective cities, but occasionally the gals will get especially fierce and start ragging on one another. Most recently, Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes shared her thoughts on RHoBH’s Brandi Glanville and Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Melissa Gorga, and now it’s their turn to fight back.

Brandi has already made it clear that NeNe should really get to know her before judging her, but how did Melissa respond to NeNe’s digs?

For those of you that didn’t catch NeNe’s Watch What Happens Live appearance earlier this month, the Georgia peach called Brandi “gangsta” and said Melissa should be more respectful to her sister-in-law Teresa Giudice, who was on the show long before she was.

In response, Melissa tells In Touch, “The vets need to thank the new girls for coming in. They amp up the ratings!” While Danielle Staub was an entertaining boatload of crazy, there’s no denying that the family dynamic on RHoNJ is part of what makes it so interesting to viewers. Clearly, Melissa has a point.

As for NeNe’s other claim that RHoNJ is “too nasty” now, Melissa counters, “The show needed to be revived. It got revived,” adding, “maybe NeNe feels threatened.”

You tell her, Meliss!

Do you agree with Melissa that NeNe might feel threatened by RHoNJ’s success? Tell us your thoughts below!
