When Teresa and Joe Giudice surrendered themselves to authorities last week after being indicted on 39 counts of federal fraud, they weren’t in jail for long (thanks to Joe’s parents, who posted their lofty bail), but they were forced to surrender their passports, making it impossible for them to leave the country.
At the time it was also reported that The Real Housewives of New Jersey stars were ordered to stay within the New York/New Jersey area, but according to Teresa, this couldn’t be further from the truth.
On August 6 Tre tweeted that she was headed to Florida this Saturday, and presumably she was then hit with many questions from her followers who were under the impression that she wasn’t allowed to leave the East Coast.
To clarify, she quickly followed up with, “About me not being able to leave NJ & NY don't believe the rumors out there. Most things people saying just aren't true.”
And it looks like she won’t be alone either! “Juicy Joe will be going with me see u in Florida,” she later added.
According to RadarOnline, the judge granted Teresa and Joe permission to travel around the United States. "My client is allowed to leave the New York/New Jersey area, if she gives the court notice, 72 hours before traveling and gets approval. She is in full compliance with terms of her bond," her lawyer Henry Klingeman said.
Are you surprised that Teresa and Joe are headed to Florida instead of spending time with their kids?
