Season 5 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey has been all about finding peace and coming together as a family, but Caroline Manzo wasn't buying the zen in Arizona. In her latest Bravo blog, she explains why she felt a need to rehash the drama between Teresa Giudice and her brother during Melissa Gorga's birthday dinner.

"Everyone was getting along and on the surface you would think we'd accomplished understanding and peace amongst the group. I was frustrated, because I knew deep down inside the issues weren't resolved," Caroline wrote.

She further explained, "We'd been through the motions before, and I wasn't in the mood to go back to Jersey where relationships undoubtedly would have reverted to strained at best. I know I ruined the zen moment, but think about it, it wasn't really zen, was it?"

Maybe not. Or maybe she would have felt more "peaceful" if she had worked up the nerve to go up on the high wire. At the very least, she would have felt too tired like the rest of the gang who met the challenge.

But, due to Caroline's extreme fear of heights, the high wire exercise wasn't an option.

"I wanted to participate, but my fear of heights wasn't having it. I literally had an inner battle with myself as I sat and watched everyone complete the task, but I knew that the possibility of me having a panic attack was real and that would not have been fun," Caroline explained.

At the end of the day, it did seem that Joe Gorga still had some serious anger inside, so maybe Caroline was right to push for more therapeutic conversation.
