Though she’s a bold and confident mom, Jacqueline Laurita isn’t without her fears. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star is about to confront one of her biggest phobias in this week’s episode when she’s asked to speak at an event for autism.

Jac’s son Nicholas was diagnosed with autism last year, and since then she’s made it a priority to speak out and tell her story for other parents who may be struggling to help their own children.

The problem? Jacqueline is terrified of public speaking. So when an opportunity arises for the reality star to speak at an event, she enlists the help of the newly re-friended Teresa Giudice.

“In the past anytime I’ve tried to get up to speak in front of people, I just break out in hives,” Jacqueline says. “But if I could face my fear of getting close to Teresa, I can get through it.”

Unfortunately in the sneak peek, Tre isn’t the best for giving advice. She tries to offer support and suggestions, but ends up jumbling her words.

To his credit, Chris Laurita tries to give Teresa props for helping, but ends up cracking up at the thought of the new besties working out this problem together.

We’re not sure how much the coaching session helped since in this week’s promo we see Jac have an emotional breakdown right before going on stage.

Will she be able to face her fears? You’ll have to tune into this week’s episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey on Sunday, September 15 at 8 p.m. ET to find out!
