We’ve seen a lot of Teresa Giudice and her family since she and her husband, Joe, were charged with 39 counts of federal fraud, but we haven’t seen the mother of four break down or get emotional — even when faced with the possibility of up to 50 years in jail away from her family.

In a special interview with Andy Cohen (airing after this Sunday’s finale at 9 p.m. ET), Teresa comes clean about her reaction to the news.

“I can’t fall apart, Andy,” she said. “I have my daughters. They mean the world to me. You go through things in life, I don’t know why, so maybe something my daughters can learn from this is that that my mom was strong through all this and was there for us. I hope they always have that with them.”

Tre got slightly emotional during the interview, wiping away a tear as her hubby held her hand. It’s clear she’s being a rock for her girls, but we can’t imagine the stress and emotions going on under the surface.

Andy’s 30-minute interview is the first in-depth look at the Giudices’ struggles since the charges were announced this summer. The couple’s case starts in February 2014.

Watch What Happens Live: One-On-One With Teresa and Joe Giudice airs Sunday, September 29 at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
