We’ve been hearing talk that could mean major casting shake-ups for The Real Housewives of New Jersey now that Season 5 is over. It’s already been widely reported that Caroline Manzo is leaving the show. Now Jacqueline Laurita is saying things on Twitter that seem to imply she might not be back for Season 6, either!
With Caroline leaving RHoNJ to focus on her spin-off, Manzo’d With Children, reports are flying that her sister, Dina Manzo, is coming back to the show. Dina appeared in the first few seasons, but eventually left because she was tired of all the drama and fighting. She and her sister have a tense relationship, but now that Caroline has left the cast, it makes sense that Dina might come back.
Except that Dina and Jacqueline don’t get along at all, either. So if the show really wants Dina, are they going to have to get rid of Jacqueline first? The thought definitely appears to have crossed Jacqueline’s mind, and she recently opened up about it on Twitter.
“I don't think Dina is trying to get me fired but I know she doesn't want to come on the show with me on it. Probably to avoid any conflict,” she wrote on October 3.
Dina says she hasn’t made any decisions yet on her “next career move.” Perhaps the idea of working with Jacqueline again is holding Dina back from signing with RHoNJ?
What do you think? If RHoNJ really had to choose, would they pass on Jacqueline to get a “yes” from Dina. Head below and let us know what you think.
