There have been rumors swirling about who will return for Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 6  and whether we'll be seeing much of Kathy Wakile. Now, a new report claims that we will be seeing a bit of Kathy, but only so that another cast member would agree to appear.

Radar Online is reporting that Kathy will appear only sporadically in the upcoming season, and that the show's producers are only bringing her back to ensure that her sister, Rosie Pierri, will appear as well.

"Kathy is not a housewife anymore," a source tells Radar. "They wanted Rosie, not Kathy. Rosie would never sign a contract without Kathy. So what they did was they made them split a contract."

"They are ‘friends of the Housewives’ with a split contract," continues the insider. “You aren’t going to be seeing too much of Kathy next season."

So what is it about Rosie that the producers like so much? Well, for one thing, her battles with a certain Real Househusband make for good TV. “They like the combo, her and Joe Giudice,” says the source. And Rosie's sexual preferences may also have been a factor. “Bravo is [a] gay [network],” adds the source, explaining that Rosie is “like the gay person on Housewives."

Word has it that Kathy wasn't thrilled to have her role downgraded. In fact, the source claims she “pulled a tantrum!"

That being said, nothing has yet to be confirmed about Kathy's role next season. Indeed, Richard Wakile last week made it clear that rumors about Kathy's downgrade are not to be trusted, tweeting, "Don't believe the BS." So we'll just have to wait and see how it all plays out. Either way, we do hope we'll see both Kathy and Rosie next season!
