When it comes to legal problems, Real Housewives of New Jersey husband Joe Giudice has more than his federal fraud trial on his plate. While Teresa and Joe aren't going back to court for that trial until the new year, Joe appeared in state court on December 17 for his other legal issue. Joe has been charged with forgery and identity theft for using his brother's ID to obtain a driver's license while his was suspended.

Joe's latest court appearance, which you can see on video at NorthJersey.com, was a status conference to determine when Joe's trial for this charge will take place. This is not the first time the trial date has been pushed back — Joe was originally arrested on these charges in March 2011 — and, yep, it's been pushed again.

A new official date for the trial was not set at this hearing because of potential conflicts with a different case (not Joe's — attorneys and judges are busy people!), but it was agreed that they would "pre-try the case on January 6th," and all motions must be in by that date.

Joe's attorney also seemed to imply that his federal fraud case would go to trial in April, though last we'd heard their trial date was February 24, 2014.
