We were thrilled when Real Housewives of New Jersey star Caroline Manzo's daughter, Lauren Manzo, got engaged last year to longtime boyfriend Vito Scalia. And it seems that the wedding plans are going swimmingly, as the couple has already booked their wedding band!
Lauren and Vito have chosen a New Jersey-based band called The Infernos to perform on their momentous day. The band broke the exciting news on its Twitter page on February 18. "@CarolineManzo @Laurenmanzo can't wait for your big day. Love, your infernos!" the band's tweet reads.
And Caroline sounds ecstatic that the band was able to be part of the wedding celebration. "Thank God you were available for us !" Caroline responds.
So just who are The Infernos? According to their website, the band has been around since 1977 and has performed at the inaugurations of two former New Jersey governors. The band has also played for several U.S. presidents, including President Obama. And if they're good enough for Obama, they're probably good enough for the Lauren and Vito.
As for a wedding date, Lauren says they have picked a date, but they haven't revealed it quite yet. "Oh, we already have a date," Lauren has said. "I'm not going to share the exact date, but it's in 2015. And the reception will be at the Brownstone." In other words, we should be able to see lots of wedding planning take place on the family's spinoff, Manzo'd With Children.
Are you excited about Lauren's upcoming nuptials? And are you hoping to see their wedding planning on Manzo'd With Children?
