It's been almost two and a half years since the Season 3 Reunion of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, but Jacqueline Laurita is finally coming forward to reveal why she decided to not attend the event. In a string of posts on Twitter, she explained her reasons for skipping out that night.

"Wasn't at season 3 reunion bc I was upset w/some people that I couldn't discuss at reunion & was also during the height of my sons regression," Jacqueline began.

She was unable to discuss certain things because Season 4 had just wrapped up filming the day before the Season 3 reunion was filmed. And, of course, any Season 4 material, including the huge falling out between Jacqueline and her bestie, Teresa Giudice, was strictly off-limits.

But, there were other issues keeping Jacqueline home — namely, her son, Nicholas.

"I was at a point that I couldnt take anymore nonsense & wanted off show. Was Very depressed back then. After season 4 my son got Autism diagnosis," she continued.

"BUT.... Things eventually got much better! :0) I've learned a lot since then. I'm in a happy place now. Always evolving," Jacqueline concluded.

If you're wondering why Jac waited until now to address the topic, apparently different parts of the world are only up to Season 3 of the show right now and people were wondering about her absence.

Do you think Jacqueline's reasons for blowing off the reunion are valid or should she have attended? Sound off in the comments below!
