Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice and husband Joe have been in the news quite a bit lately, with the two pleading guilty to fraud charges last week. Now, Watch What Happens Live host and Real Housewives bigwig Andy Cohen is weighing in on the legal drama and what it means for the currently filming RHONJ Season 6.
Andy tells E! Online that his primary focus is on the well-being of the couple's four daughters: Gia, 13; Gabriella, 9; Milania, 8; and Audriana, 4. "I don't know much about the situation," Andy says. "I certainly am thinking about kids right now."
However, he points out that the legal issues will definitely be addressed on the show. "We're shooting next season right now," he says. "So there's going to be a lot in there that's going to be quite dramatic and different than anything we've ever seen before."
But will Teresa still be on the show if she is placed under house arrest instead of going to jail? Andy doesn't sound certain. "I'm gonna let her get through the sentencing, and then we'll all talk," Andy adds.
We think it's great that Andy is so aware that the most important thing is doing what's right for the family's children. We wish their family all the best during this difficult time, and we're curious to see how the show handles their ongoing battle.
Are you hoping to see the show focus on the legal drama? Or would that be in poor taste? Let us know in the comments!
