This is presumably a very tough time for Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice and husband Joe, as the two await sentencing after pleading guilty to federal fraud charges. But does the couple fully appreciate the gravity of their current legal drama?
Radar Online reports that Teresa and Joe appear to be unaffected by their situation. "Teresa and Joe are completely in denial," says a source. "They still live in their house that nobody thinks they can afford, they’re driving leased cars, and they still shop and go out places."
"Teresa and Joe have spent years defrauding the government, and they don’t know how to stop living so extravagantly now," adds the source. And another insider claims that the couple is "refusing to admit that things could be really bad for their family."
So what do we make of these unconfirmed rumors? Well, it's a bit hard to believe all of this. After all, Teresa has spoken publicly about how hard it has been to stay positive in light of the fraud charges. Perhaps Teresa is just doing her best to maintain an upbeat outlook, and this is what the sources are picking up on.
At any rate, we continue to wish Teresa and her family all the best.
