Teresa Giudice is known for bringing the drama on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, but in Season 6 her story is a source of tears, not table flipping. This season takes place while the Giudices family was struggling with their major legal crisis, and the effect on their oldest daughter, Gia, is hard to watch.

In her Bravo blog about the Season 6 premiere, Teresa opens up a little about the year, explaining that "it has been a difficult year for my family, and we still have difficult things ahead. It is a lot of stress and that stress has taken a toll on me and my family, but we will get through it with love and with God's help." She added that "I guess like Dina said, if life was perfect, we'd get bored and we wouldn't grow. I'm definitely not bored, but hopefully growing."

Teresa also dedicated her blog, and the whole season, to her father-in-law, Franco Giudice, who recently passed away. We got to see him a little in this episode, and it's clear that he was a strong, caring man who will be dearly missed.

"He was a great, great man, a wonderful father and grandfather and we miss him terribly," Teresa writes. "He was only 64 and was taken from us far too soon. One of our few consolations has been knowing that we spent so much time with him like my parents, he and my mother-in-law live very close and are very much a part of our lives and never missed an opportunity to tell him and hear from him how much we loved each other."

Sniff. We're not the only ones tearing up a little, right? With so much going on in her life, it's no surprise that Teresa has dialed back the drama and made up with her former foe, Melissa Gorga. Good thing the newbies are here to bring the reality TV madness, because Teresa clearly has bigger things to think about.
