Two episodes of The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 6 have now come and gone, and even though the ratings have been lower-than-usual, stalwart fans are sticking with the Bravo show. But there’s a different feel to RHONJ this season (so far), due in large part to the big cast shakeup.

Season 6 features three new H’wives (Amber Marchese, Teresa Aprea, Nicole Mauriello), one long lost Housewife (Dina Manzo), and the absence of several past H’wives (Caroline Manzo, Jacqueline Laurita, Kathy Wakile and Rosie Pierri only part-time).

We’re still just getting to know the three new ladies, and previews have hinted to tons of drama to come, so it may be too early for fans to gauge whether like like the newbies, dislike the newbies, or are just yawning through it all.

Amber already had a brief run-in with old friend Melissa Gorga, who is no longer feuding with Teresa Giudice. Teresa isn’t feuding with anyone, which is either refreshing or boring, because she’s focused on her own family problems. Dina is dealing with a ton of change in her life, in her own Zen(ish) way, and the twins are only just starting to become distinguishable. There are also the new spouses and family members to consider, since they can sometimes bring life to the show. Amber’s husband looks poised to set off some fireworks, Teresa’s husband Rino seems interesting, and the twins’s parents are pretty cool.

But what do you think — have you formed an impression on the Season 6 cast at this point? If so, are you liking the group, disappointed for one reason or another, or just in wait-and-see mode? Do you wish Bravo would show more of the newbies and less of, say, Teresa’s family, or would you like the opposite?
