Here's the good news: More people tuned into the 8 p.m. showing of The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 6 this week than they did last week. Here's the bad news: the numbers are still way lower than in the past.

Last week, 1.64 million people tuned in; this week, TV By the Numbers reports 1.88 million. Hey, better up then down!

However, this week the show once again only earned a .8 in the all important 18-49 demo. So this is good news, but only a minor improvement. For comparison, last season the third episode had 2.11 million viewers, and the average ratings over the entire season was 2.28 million viewers per episode, and a 1.03 in demo. In Season 4 the third episode had 2.54 million viewers.

This is also the first time since the very beginning of Season 1 that the show has had under 2 million viewers for two weeks in a row.

So, yeah. Something is still not clicking in the way it used to. Are viewers not into the new cast? Is Teresa's legal drama a turnoff?  Are people just tired of this particular branch of the H'wives franchise?
