Melissa Gorga and her hubby Joe are currently struggling with some real-life drama that rivals anything that's happened on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. They have a tenant they just can't get to leave their house, and it looks like the problem isn't gone yet.

For those of you who haven't been following the story, let's sum it up. As we've seen on Real Housewives of New Jersey, last year Melissa and Joe moved out of their old Montville home and into a rental in Franklin Lakes, where they were planning on building their new dream home. However, they've hit a financial snag, in part, because they didn't actually sell their old house. Instead, the person who moved in, Kai Patterson signed a "purchase contract and agreed on an extended close." According to Melissa this is a common practice, and she and Joe didn't think it the deal would go south.

They thought wrong.

Back at the beginning of July, it came out that Joe and Melissa were trying to evict the person currently living in their Montville home because he owed them several months of rent — to the tune of $80k!

It turns out it's not actually all that easy to kick someone out of a house, and The Star-Ledger reports that Kai's eviction, which the Gorgas have been fighting for, has once again been delayed by the courts, to give Kai more time to pursue his own motion and reconsider whether or not he's really going to default on the lease. Though the good news is that, for now, it's only been delayed until tomorrow, August 5.

Hopefully this all gets sorted out for the Gorgas soon. According to Melissa, the fam is planning to move back to the Montville house — but they can't do that until it's empty!
