Caroline Manzo on Daughter Lauren’s Meltdown in Napa: “Lauren Overreacted”

For weeks, Caroline Manzo has been preparing The Real Housewives of New Jersey viewers for some shocking behavior from her daughter Lauren, and on Sunday’s episode, we got to see just how Lauren reacted (i.e. by crying and locking herself in the RV) after a little playful nudging from her brothers.

Throughout this season, Caroline has come under fire for her seemingly harsh treatment of Lauren, and in her recent BravoTV.com blog she explains why she called her daughter out for her uncharacteristic behavior.

Caroline writes, “I love my kids more than anything in this world, but when they overreact or behave badly, they will hear it from me. Lauren overreacted when she heard about Lindsey moving in with Albie and over the boys’ little nudges during the trip too.”

“Al and I are lucky enough to have an extraordinary bond with our children. The kids fight like crazy, but they love each other to death. Make no mistake, we tell our kids we love them every single day, but when they are behaving like an ass, we address it,” she continues.

Eventually Lauren calmed down and enjoyed the rest of the trip, but was Caroline still too harsh on her daughter? Sound off below!
