When The Real Housewives of New Jersey premiered in 2009, no one knew what it would become. Though it wasn’t the first H’wives show on Bravo, it has grown to be one of the most-recognized (and crazy) installment in the franchise.

On that fateful day, nearly five years ago, when all of the Housewives met for the first time, it was a leap of faith, and Caroline Manzo thinks that back then, nobody could predict the “monster” the show would become.

During a Q&A session for her book, Let Me Tell You Something, Caroline dished that the show’s status and all the gals have been through will bond them for life. “I believe through this show there will be a bond with the rest of the ladies forever,” she dished, “Even those that aren't on the show anymore and those who I maybe didn't have a good relationship with.”

Talking about the growth of the show, she explained, “There were five women who just took a leap of faith, and a monster war born. Who knew that this show would become the monster it has become? None of us knew! I don't think Bravo knew.”

Hey, we never could have predicted it, either! And at the end of the day, Caroline thinks that no matter how many enemies people make, their bonds will never falter.

“Whether I speak to [Kathy, Melissa, or Teresa] in the next 10 years, there will always be that bond of ‘Remember when?’ that can never be erased,” she concluded.
