Jacqueline Laurita of The Real Housewives of New Jersey recently revealed that her son, Nicholas, was diagnosed with autism. During the first episode of the three-part reunion, Andy Cohen brought up her decision to go public with the news via People magazine, considering her issues with Teresa Giudice and tabloids. Were her actions hypocritical?
Not according to Jacqueline. While Teresa's articles with the magazine always seem to be centered around negative situations, like Juicy Joe facing jail or the family being broke, Jacqueline felt that her story was done in a positive light, and that it was a good way to bring awareness to austism.
And she wasn't paid, of course.
