Since revealing yesterday that her 3-year-old son was diagnosed with autism, Jacqueline Laurita has received a tremendous amount of support from friends and fans, and while the diagnoses was difficult to accept at first, Jac has since devoted much of her resources to doing research geared toward Nick’s condition, and raising money to find a cure.
Take, for instance, the dinner she is hosting for Autism Speaks on Sept. 20 from 7-11 p.m. ET at — where else — The Brownstone.
Jacqueline has been tweeting about this event in the weeks before she revealed Nick was autistic, and it’s clearly something that is very important to her.
Tickets are on sale for $100 a pop, and the money goes towards autism research. A three-course dinner and open bar are included with the price of admission. To purchase tickets to Jacqueline’s event, click here!
