Jacqueline Laurita Opens Up About Teresa Giudice: “She Has a Fear of Melissa and Her Brother Outshining Her and Joe”

We know that Jacqueline Laurita and Teresa Giudice have had a major falling out over the past few months, but we have yet to see what actually caused the rift.

Thankfully, Jacqueline is cluing us in on her BravoTV.com blog, where she is honest about her issues with Teresa.

As far as the lack of accountability with regards to the cookbook jabs, Jac reveals, “Teresa hardly ever admits she's wrong, and if she can't convince you to feel the same way she does about something, she will start blame shifting to try to put YOU in the wrong instead of her.”

Jacqueline also says that she thinks Teresa’s little “jokes” actually come from a place of insecurity. Teresa wanted to bring up Caroline’s Italian heritage and compare her to the Olive Garden so she could feel better about herself.

“I think the problem was that Teresa wanted to be the ONLY authentic Italian cook, and she wanted to make sure that she kept that title,” Jacqueline says.

According to Jacqueline, Teresa was also blindsided when she learned that her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga and cousin Kathy Wakile would be joining The Real Housewives of New Jersey at the start of Season 3. 

“I think Teresa has a fear of Melissa and her brother outshining her and Joe … She had a very hard time accepting the fact that they were on and there was nothing she could do about it,” Jacqueline reveals.

Ultimately, Jacqueline hints that it was the change in Teresa’s demeanor that contributed to their blowout fight. “I loved Teresa, and I just wanted to see my friend truly happy. I saw how unhappy she was and how competitive she was becoming and how hard she was scheming and working to stay on top while trying to bring others down,” Jacqueline said.

“This is all while she was trying to convince everyone that her life was fine, but doing articles that said she was not. It was unhealthy, immature, and heartbreaking,” she continued.

Despite Jacqueline’s recent efforts to patch things up with Teresa, it looks like they still have a while to go before they rebuild their friendship.
