As if Real Housewives of New Jersey star Jacqueline Laurita’s housing troubles could get any worse. The Jersey mama who has been battling rumors of her home going into foreclosure, alerted her Twitter fam that her home was nearly broken into — while she was in it!

“I was standing right in front of the door he tried to come in. I watched him walk on my deck and in my yard. Surveillance cameras got it,” Jac tweeted on April 30. Of course the RHoNJ star made sure to give the police department the proper credit for being there when the scary ordeal took place.

“Shout out 2 my local law enforcement 4 responding quickly 2 a break in attempt at my home today.Thank u! Cant wait 2 c footage on security cameras,” she tweeted to fans.

As you know, it’s been reported that Jac’s home with hubby Chris Laurita was placed in pre-foreclosure because of a default on the mortgage. The bank has since released documents stating that they were going to seek legal action to have the home placed in foreclosure to retrieve the money, but Jac has denied the incident, stating:

“We simply modified our mortgage which is a process. Our mortgage modification has been approved and all is good.”

Thank goodness the police came when they did!
