As you know, Real Housewives of New Jersey star Jacqueline Laurita has been pretty open about her 3-year-old son, Nicholas’s autism. The little tyke was diagnosed with the disorder around the age of 18 months when he started to regress in his speech and behavior. Since then, however, the little boy has been making big strides.
According to Jacqueline, it was during Hurricane Sandy that she and her husband, Chris, made a big breakthrough with her son, who at the time would not use his words to say what he needed. During the hurricane, Jac got her son to make sounds and even spell out the words needed to communicate what he wanted and now in two Keek videos, Jac is showing off just how much of a spelling genius her son is.
“Nick spells! He continues to perfectly finish spelling each word correctly in the sentence with no help,” Jacqueline captions the video in which we can see Nicholas working hard on his digital reader, spelling out the words “pig” and “had” after hearing the device sound the word out.
In the second video, we see the young RHoNJ star spell out the word “muff” as the reader sounds it out for him.
