Teresa Giudice and her husband Joe Giudice, certainly have enough problems to worry about, if this season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey is any indication.

Between financial struggles, questions of infidelity, and magazine rumors (that they may or may not have planted), the last thing the Giudices need is another legal headache. So news that Joe’s pending trial may not happen until next year may be a welcome break.

Chief Assistant Prosecutor Jay McCann told Celebuzz this morning that Joe’s trial over his fraudulently obtained driver’s license, originally set for October 1, could be delayed into 2013. This comes after Giudice rejected a plea deal of five years in prison in July, resulting from his arrest in March 2011 over the license that he supposedly got using his brother’s ID.

If convicted, Juicy Joe could land himself up to 10 years in prison. Maybe Teresa should forget about her fight with Caroline Manzo, and use this extra time to help Joe draft up an opening argument.
