Since joining The Real Housewives of Atlanta last season, Kathy Wakile has often acted as a middleman between Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga.
As Teresa’s cousin and Melissa’s cousin by marriage, Kathy has a real desire to keep the peace amongst all her family members.
However, given the fact that Melissa and Teresa can’t seem to play nice for more than one episode, trying to see that everyone gets along is no easy feat.
This season it seems like Kathy will be more aligned with Melissa, but she still wants viewers to know that she’ll always love Teresa.
In her inagural BravoTV.com blog of Season 4 Kathy writes, “Keep in mind, the family jokes around and throws out statements they don’t mean that may be rooted in anger, but at the end of the day, it’s nothing but love. If you didn’t care about the person, you wouldn’t waste your time being angry with them.”
As for her husband Richie’s controversial sense of humor — in the premiere he said of Teresa, “I think we should burn the bitch on a stake” — Kathy explains that he means no harm.
She writes, “I hope that you have all come to understand Richie’s blunt sense of humor. It’s a package deal and comes along with his no nonsense logic and huge heart!”
While Kathy assures us that it’s “nothing but love” she also hints at the drama that’s afoot.
“This season our stories will be told and you will get to know us a little bit better. It’s up to you to judge for yourself, but don’t forget to read between the lines. After all, actions speak louder than words,” she continues.
With a teaser like that, we can’t wait to see what the h’wives are up to this week!
