Kathy Wakile to Teresa Giudice: “Stop Being So Petty!”

Teresa Giudice held a book signing for one of her cookbooks on last week’s episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, and as she teased before the episode even aired, she wasn’t pleased with comments her cousin Kathy Wakile made.

While Kathy and her husband Rich made a point of going to the signing, Teresa felt Kathy’s remarks about her cookbook containing her mother’s recipes were unwarranted.  

In her latest BravoTV.com blog, Kathy explains that she had only intended to support Teresa. She writes, “I went to Teresa’s book signing at the bakery because I wanted to let her know how proud I was of her by showing our support.”

As for the controversial comment about the recipes, Kathy explains, “I know my mother and her mother are not sisters, which she made such a vivid point of in her blog last week. I never claimed that they were sisters. Again, who cares? None the less, they are family and family shares recipes all the time.”

Teresa may have been “shocked” by Kathy’s behavior at the book signing, but Kathy has one, simple message for her cousin: “Please, Teresa, get over it! Stop being so petty!”
