Lauren Manzo Defends Bethenny Frankel’s Skinnygirl Drinks From Teresa Giudice!
On the July 22 episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Teresa Giudice was on a quest to find a wine worthy enough of being used in her Fabellini cocktail, and she ended up insulting Bethanny Frankel’s uber-successful Skinnygirl brand in the process!
Teresa told the Bravo cameras, “My thing is I don't like anything that tastes diet-y. For instance, Skinnygirl tastes diet-y. I don't like that.”
While Caroline Manzo stated on Sunday night’s Watch What Happens Live! that she was “shocked” by Teresa’s remarks, her daughter Lauren went straight to Twitter to defend Bethenny and her Skinnygirl drinks.
On July 22, Lauren tweeted, “I love Skinny Girl.. Love that it doesn’t taste diety!!! #WWHL @BravoAndy,” and included the above picture of herself holding a tasty Skinnygirl libation.
